Daniel Xu has been associated with NRCS (Neighbour Ring Community Services) since 2007, and has served as its Executive Director for the past three years. NRCS runs a wellness centre for seniors and a range of programmes for families and individuals, from professional support services to marital and parental enrichment and befriending.

Daniel is a member of ECF Holy Word, where he has served in various capacities over the years. He is currently completing a Master's in Counselling at Singapore Bible College. His work moves between leading a charity, studying counselling, and community life at church, not because these are separate interests, but because in his experience they were never separate to begin with.

He writes because he believes everyone carries a story worth drawing out, and that the stories we tell about ourselves shape what we think is possible. His writing moves between community work, mental health, theology, and memoir.
